Are they just "old sheds and houses" ? ...certainly not!! they are much more than that.
These old buildings represent something very special; the spirit of a bygone era, the passion of a new settler struggling against adversity, the hopes and the dreams of people embarking upon new lives in an often hostile environment.
Ingenuity, improvisation, blood, sweat and tears were the ingredients that went into erecting these structures. Transport was minimal or non-existent, roads were dirt tracks, tools were basic but the spirit was strong and the passion unstoppable.
I salute those people with this humble tribute to their efforts.
